Nuclear on hold for India, by Century Direct Group

Century Direct Group reports that India is a little worried about their status in the eyes of the Nuclear Suppliers Group or NSG.
Despite having received a clean bill from the NSG in September of 2008, recent security regulations added on by the NSG have caused India to worry whether it would actually get nuclear material.
The forty six nations that make up the NSG, participated in a meeting last week in the Netherlands to discuss tightening security measures for the transfers of nuclear materials and also announced that they discussed the 2008 Statement on Civil Nuclear Cooperation with India.
India took up its case with the US, France and Russia among others asking it to confirm its eligibility.
So far only the U.S. has responded, assuring India that the commitment still stands.
